Why do we not arm our teachers and school workers?

Arm and Protect our Schools!

If you have read my remarks here, you know I am a supporter of Self Defense and the 2nd Amendment. I believe what we can do to counter school shootings at all schools is to begin training and arming teachers. In Colleges, allow students whom have their Concealed Weapons Permits to carry their arms should they choose to.

We already believe in these people enough to trust them with our children 5 days a week. Do we have so little faith in these people to not allow them the option of protecting our children beyond locking the doors to their classrooms and turning off the lights?

I admit this shouldn't be a Cart Blanche arming of people. I have no problem having additional standards set to qualify a teacher or school staff. Maybe psychological evaluation, meeting a set period of time in the position, and extensive training.

We have schools all over the United States which train our Law Enforcement, Military, and Federal Agents which could quickly create a program to suit our schools.

Now, I know most people see all college students as being extras in the background of movies like Animal House. The truth of the matter is those students which go out to pursue a Concealed Weapons Permit are already outside of your norm. In many states, the age requirements already make it so only SOTA's (Students Older Than Average) are even able to get their permits. Many of these students are former military. Others have already been working in the real world and have shown they are not criminals. They have, if they found it necessary, experimented with whatever vices that most students are only now discovering.

We have to remember that a vigorous background check is performed on all applicants. Since I was 14, I have been having different background checks run on me. Many jobs I had when younger required passing the background check before an offer of employment could even be extended. Between many state agencies, the federal government, and private groups, my background has been checked regularly. I am sure that I am not alone in that. Many of my friends also have done this. Some even have such high levels of secret clearance that the DSS and Secret Service have done their backgrounds. Why would our Military and Government trust these people on such a protected level that a college would see them as untrustworthy?

The whole fact of the matter is that once you remove these Gun Free Zone laws, or as I refer to them, Murder Freely Zones, that knowledge alone will make a criminal shooter think twice before going to a school and attempting killings. Criminals seek easy targets. If this wasn't true, why do they seek out seniors to rob? If force wasn't a deterrent, Fort Knox would have been overrun and emptied years ago.

Do we need more shootings like Virgina Tech, Bailey Colorado, Red Lake Minnesota, and Columbine Colorado to learn this lesson?

Do the right thing. Arm our teachers. If you want a real time case study on this, look to Utah. They allow their teachers to carry, and on colleges, students with permits. When was the last time you heard of a school shooting there?

Feds Arrest 34 in Sweep of Mexican-Linked L.A. Gangs
Wednesday, October 17, 2007

LOS ANGELES — More than 60 people allegedly linked to a Hispanic street gang have been charged with racketeering and drug trafficking in an indictment that accuses them of attacking blacks in South Los Angeles to maintain control in certain neighborhoods.

Of those under indictment, 34 were arrested during sweeps Tuesday following a three-year investigation, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

They are suspected members of the Florencia 13 gang, which authorities say is controlled by the Mexican Mafia.

Prosecutors accuse the group of shooting blacks, rival gang members and innocent residents.
"In their attempt to intimidate African Americans in the community, they targeted innocent citizens," U.S. Attorney Thomas P. O'Brien said.

A total of 61 defendants were named in two indictments — one charging violations of federal racketeering laws and the other charging federal narcotics trafficking violations. The indictments were returned by a federal grand jury on Sept. 27 and unsealed Tuesday.

Besides the 34 arrested, some of the others are already in custody or listed as fugitives, authorities said.

Those named in the racketeering indictment face 20 years to life in prison if convicted. The narcotics indictment carries 10 years to life in prison.

So how many of these are illegal immigrants? So if they all were, border control and immigration enforcement would have prevented all of there crimes and the crimes of all other illegals? I bet yes, which makes any crime by an illegal Preventable!

Never should have been released. Preventable Crime!

Minnesota Settles Slain Student Dru Sjodin Wrongful Death Suit for $300K
Wednesday, October 17, 2007
AP

ST. PAUL — The state of Minnesota has reached a settlement with the family of Dru Sjodin, a college student who was kidnapped and killed almost four years ago by a convicted sex offender who was released from prison a few months before the crime.

The family had taken steps to seek more than $1 million in damages in a wrongful death lawsuit.
The $300,000 agreement — finalized in July but not made public until this week — protects the state from being sued over Sjodin's death at the hands of Alfonso Rodriguez Jr., a convicted rapist who was released from state prison six months before Sjodin disappeared.

Sjodin, of Pequot Lakes, Minn., was last seen leaving her job at a Grand Forks mall on Nov. 22, 2003. Her body was found the next April in a ravine near Crookston, Minn., where Rodriguez had been living with his mother. Authorities said she had been beaten, raped and stabbed.

A federal jury in North Dakota convicted Rodriguez for Sjodin's kidnapping and killing and sentenced him to death.

The family's attorney argued in a 2004 letter that state authorities were partly responsible for Sjodin's death. A state Department of Corrections psychologist had decided against recommending Rodriguez for civil commitment as he finished serving a 23-year sentence for stabbing and trying to abduct a woman.

The settlement — signed by Sjodin's father, Allan Sjodin, on June 20, and Corrections Commissioner Joan Fabian on July 9 — releases the Corrections Department and other state agencies from those claims.

State authorities also avoided admitting any errors.

"This agreement does not constitute an admission of any liability, an admission of a violation of state or federal law, or an admission of any wrongdoing by the state," the settlement reads.
Corrections Department spokeswoman Shari Burt said the agency already paid the family from its budget.

The family's lawyer, Timothy Murphy, didn't immediately return telephone messages.
Sjodin's murder shook up Minnesota's approach to sex crimes, resulting in tougher sentences and many more sex offenders being civilly committed to locked treatment facilities after they had served their prison sentences.

Fabian referred to the new policies in a prepared statement that said, "We hope these changes will make Minnesota safer for all of its children and will bring some consolation to the family."

This bastard should have never been released from Prison in anything but a body bag. Why do people keep believing that we can heal or cure sex offenders? Do they also believe they can heal or cure gays?

Enemies In Our Homes!

I have mentioned a group repeatedly in my blog here again and again. They are more of a threat to our country currently than Al Quida. Now think about that statement, More Of A Threat Than Al Quida. Why is that? Quite simply, this group is operating without hardly any restraint within our borders. They are killing people on our streets, and are aligned with people who do not care if you die because all they want is your money.

Our open borders are very much to blame. These are not our street gangs of yesterday. Actually, these guys are killing the street gangs of yesterday to clear a path for themselves. This group is funded by entities outside of our country that have more funds than the combined resources of our entire nations police departments and federal law enforcement COMBINED.

Another reason of why they are more of an eminent threat is that they are already here. They are in cities and towns across the entire United States.

So, who funds them? We do. Every drug user in our country is supporting these guys. The only people who get a pass here are your local weed smokers who grow their own. This group is tied into the drug cartels of South America.

Here is an article released today about this group.

Report: Street Gang MS-13 Trying to Unify in Major U.S. Cities, Become Powerful and Deadly Cartel
Wednesday, July 25, 2007 FOXNEWS.COM
The vicious street gang MS-13
is trying to unify itself across the U.S., posing a threat to law enforcement in
major American cities — including the nation's capital — that could rival the
major drug cartels of Mexico and Colombia, according to a report
published Wednesday in the Washington
Times.
"Traditionally, the gang consisted of loosely affiliated groups
known as cliques; however, law enforcement officials have reported increased
coordination of criminal activity among Mara Salvatrucha cliques in the Atlanta,
Dallas, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and New York metropolitan
areas," states a confidential memo sent out earlier this month from the U.S.
Attorney's Office in the Southern District of Illinois, the newspaper
reported.
"MS-13 is attempting to become a unified criminal enterprise
operating under one leadership."
The newspaper obtained a copy of the memo and an Army intelligence presentation on the growth of MS-13, also known as Mara Salvatrucha.
Federal law-enforcement officials say the gang is adopting
tactics used by major Mexican and Colombian drug-trafficking groups and has
become a gun-for-hire for many major Central and South American drug-trafficking
cartels, the newspaper reported.
"Indications that previously independent cliques are forming alliances with
other MS-13 cliques, as well as with other gangs to facilitate criminal
activity, further heighten the threat," the letter continued. "It would be
dangerous to look at MS-13 as just another street gang."

Oh, its the MS13 again. A group made up of almost completely of Illegal Immigrants. This is the goods we reap from a relaxed attitude to the issue of our southern border. If the Federal Government believes they are somewhere, you can typically add to that by doubling their assessment.

So, I know some people are worried about undocumented workers and that we will harm them by closing our borders, are they aware of these undocumented workers? Besides, if you have come here illegally, why are we doing more to support them than the legal citizens of this country? If their is a starving family in our country who is not being cared for as well as these outsiders, than what we are doing is defecating on our own people. If there is a jobless citizen because he cannot compete with illegals at this low of a wage, we are urinating on our own people. We have families who are suffering daily who belong here, and have broke no laws, and they are not even getting half the help that our Illegals are getting. And many of the services they could receive are being drained by our Criminal Immigrants.

Are we so blind? Wake up America!

Released to kill.

I am in awe of two stories which are in the news today.

Florida Father Finds Dead Girl in Son's Closet

Parolees Arraigned in Deadly Connecticut Home Invasion

So, on July 4th 2007, we had an illegal immigrant who wasn't deported after only serving a month in jail for "Violently Raping" his half sister. Now we have these two new cases appearing today.

In the first case, I find this really interesting.
Shenfeld was released from jail in February after being arrested and accused of
sexually assaulting two other women.

In the second case, this is what I found interesting.
Komisarjevsky was sentenced to three years in prison in 2002 and six years of
special parole after pleading guilty to 11 counts of second-degree burglary, the
Hartford Courant reported.

and,

Hayes has a 25-year history of burglary and larceny.

So, why is it all of these people are out on our streets? In each of these cases
the person has a long history of crime, or, a serious enough short history to be
considered a threat to society.

Again and again we are seeing stories where released criminals resort to murder afterwards. I am assuming that while in jail they are being told that if you go out in the world to commit crime again, you'd better kill all witnesses. Perhaps I am wrong, but that is becoming a theme in many of the stories I am reading on the national new wires.

I want to know, what was this special parole that Komisarjevsky received?

Why was Jason Shenfeld let go?

And most importantly, why are lives being lost? Has our criminal justice system of the courts become broken?
