Dear God, I pray that you will look over those so overcome by fear that they do nothing against the criminals of our country. Amen.
OK people, I was reading newspapers online from all across our East Coast. I saw more stories of crime than good. I have never seen such a thing. Do they not care about their or others safety? Are they so beaten down that they sit home afraid every night? What creates cowards in this nation so wide spread that criminals overtake our states?
Is it cowards, or bad laws that prevent people from doing good for themselves and others?
Why, and really I ask, why is it in so called Blue states crime rates are higher than so called Red states? I wish I knew the answer.
When people of our nation quit looking for the easy way out and run from tough times, we might see the nation our founding father envisioned.
I do not give a shit how you vote, but if you vote as a pussy and allow bad things to grow, you are a fool. Put people in office who will actually make a difference. Screw party lines if your Blue option is a wuss, and the same for those Reds out there.
I gave 10 (ten) years of my life chasing shit bag criminals. I know I made a difference. In saying that I challenge you to do something.
Start giving a shit and doing shit and quit being a piece of shit!!!!!!

Wow, in the New York Times...
Normally major newspapers and media sources ignore news involving non-criminal use of handguns. Swap out the officer for any Concealed Weapons Permit holder, and you will understand my points made repeatedly here.

At His Door, Officer Kills Armed Man

An off-duty police officer fatally shot a man who pulled a gun on the officer’s wife and 3-year-old daughter outside the door of their Bronx apartment, the police said on Sunday.
The confrontation began when the officer’s wife and daughter left the elevator to go to their third-floor apartment at 314 East 201st Street in Bedford Park just before midnight on Saturday.
A man who had been in the elevator with them followed them out and pointed a pistol at them, the police said. The woman’s screams alerted her husband, identified as Officer Luis Perez, who ran into the hall with a gun.
Shots were fired as the man, whom the police identified as Carlos Rios, 47, of Amsterdam Avenue in Upper Manhattan, ran down the stairs into the lobby, witnesses and the police said. He was hit in the shoulder, the police said.
According to a witness, Mr. Rios was found under a minivan outside the building and medics tried to revive him on the sidewalk. He was taken to Montefiore Medical Center, where he was declared dead at 12:26 a.m.
The police said that a silver automatic pistol was recovered and that Mr. Rios had an arrest record. They did not give details.
Peter Girvan, 42, an administrator at Fordham University who also lives on the third floor, said that shortly before midnight he heard a woman yelling for help in Spanish. He looked through the peephole of his apartment door and saw a woman in a black jogging suit giving “bloodcurdling” screams. “She was screaming ‘Ayudame! Ayudame!’” he said.
He said he then saw Mr. Rios dart past his door and run down the stairs. Mr. Girvan said he heard a single shot followed by a rapid sequence of five shots. After a minute or so, Mr. Girvan said, he walked into the hallway and saw Officer Perez, dressed only in boxer shorts, coming up the stairs with his gun.
The police said that the pistol the officer used was not his department-issued weapon.
Another neighbor, Ken Ferrara, 53, who teaches learning-disabled children and is a tai chi instructor, said he heard Mr. Perez identify himself as a police officer. He added, “I believe it was the perpetrator who fired the shot as he was running down the stairs, and then the officer returned fire.”
Jason Rodriguez, 23, who lives on the first floor, also said that he heard a single shot followed by five rapid shots. “I went to my hallway and all I saw was gun smoke,” he said. “It had just happened. I was devastated.”
Hours after the shooting, a trail of blood could be seen from the first floor out to the street.
The neighborhood is known as a place where many police officers live, residents said. Blanca Farmer, 52, the building’s superintendent, said that Officer Perez was an active and helpful neighbor. She said he had passed his business card to other tenants and told them: “If there is trouble in the building, call the 52nd Precinct. Don’t take the law into your own hands.”
-----------------------------------------
OK, I bolded one thing which is also usually omitted in a story regarding LAWFUL self defense shootings across this country. The criminal in this story, and almost all others like this, have a prior record.
I do disagree with one major part of this story. It is the final line of this story. "Don't take the law into your own hands."
Do a test where ever you may live. Have a stopwatch available. Call 911. Now, imagine how many shots can and could be fired by a criminal. Also, figure out how many shots you could fire to save you, your family, or others before the police arrive.
Taking your own life and the self defense of such into your own hands in most states is actually protected by law. Did you know that? There are laws in place to protect those whom have had to defend themselves or others. SO, taking the law into your own hands is not only something I advise, but support. If we could not do this, why do they have Citizens Arrest powers also in the laws?
In addition to all of this, you must realize and understand that the Supreme Court of the United States of America ruled that the police DO NOT HAVE A DUTY TO PROTECT YOU!!!!!! Bet most of you did not know that one.
Cheers,

I think I just figured something out.
As I have been writing here, I have been asking myself why do so many illegal immigrants want to move to the United States and while discussing this with my wife, she said something in relation with the fall of Rome which really got me thinking.
It isn't about money is it? Everyone knows there is other ways to make a lot of money, especially made easier in our southern neighbors where the rule of law is weaker.
It is about the rights you have here. Even an illegal immigrant is protected and covered under our laws of freedom and liberty. The saddest part about that is that our legal system has become warped and twisted, far from what our founding fathers had intended.
Everyone wanted to be Roman citizens because Roman Citizens had rights. So, apply that to today, and why are so many people running to the Democratic countries of the world? For the protections and rights of our countries. What do they not have in the lands they left? The protections and rights we enjoy on a daily basis.
So, how do we solve the problem of mass immigration? Would the best answer be to assist these people in making their countries more like what ours used to be when originally founded? Perhaps.
What would happen if we were able to help people create a better form of government than ours based on ours and the other free countries of the world? Quite simply, they could remove the current powers that be, and replace them with true believers. Heck, our country is a perfect example of things not to do, or mistakes already made to avoid.
I do not begrudge people wanting a better life, or seeking the rights and protections we enjoy on a daily basis, sometimes even in ignorance. However I do believe the whole world would be better if they stayed home and fixed their problems at the source.
I will admit I have sympathy for those being oppressed. I am glad for those who find freedom, but breaking the laws of the country that protects you to get these freedoms is wrong. Americans earned their rights with blood and hard work. We didn't always get it right, but we learn. I suggest that illegal immigrants learn from our ways and bring them home and make all their people aware of how they too could help themselves.
Honestly, I ask these illegals to do this before they anger the American people to a level thats causes unrest which will lead to hate.

"Non-rocket science questions" and AM I NOT AMERICAN?
I just read this article on illegal immigration and I only can say Right On!
I wish more people would look at this issue through this lens.
I am upset at criminal immigration due to many reasons. I have seen wages either stay low or be lowered because of this influx of people. When I was a kid growing up, we would work the fields for summer jobs. I did day labor with kids from school or church. Sometimes we would use our schools and churches to line up jobs. We would use that money towards things we needed, or put it towards church trips, boy scout trips, or even some school trips. It was awesome and fun to get friends together and do jobs for people. It didn't matter if it was shoveling snow, moving dirt and gravel, planting trees, or cleaning up after construction sites. When I got older, I would work in the fields doing whatever they asked of us.
So, am I not an American? I keep hearing that Americans will not do these jobs, but I could call up friends and we would go as a group. One friend John is not a cop. Was he not an American while he helped me and others? This statement is BS to its core, and I wish people stop using it. Another friend of mine took college classes in the morning, and she cleaned hotel rooms in the afternoon and night to pay for these classes. Was that un-American?
Another difference between now and then was what we got paid. We made a heck of a lot more then an illegal would accept. They work for dimes compared to what we were GIVEN as teens.
Maybe it is because kids today would rather leach off of their parents while playing x-box all day, but I do not think that is the problem. I remember the guys I went to school with who worked at McDonald's. They always had money for movies and the other things we did. They had cars. My friend Paul did office cleaning at night. He paid for his trip to Europe with that money. Now, go try to do that today when you want just a fair wage, and an illegal is willing to take half. Think you will get what you want?
Today I hear from painters, sheet rockers, masons, and others about how they used to make twice as much, and that is being halved because of cheap illegal labor being hired. Is this fair to them? They either worked under a parent to learn a skill, or started right out of high school to learn their skills. When they started, they could make great money. Now, they watch as they lose bids to cheaper contractors hiring illegal labor. Oh, is this because they were doing jobs Americans wouldn't do?
Hear me on this point! I do not care about what color your skin is, race, religion, or creed. If you came here in a legal manner, welcome! Now, you could be extended family of mine, but if you came here illegally, go away. Go home! Go back and do it the right way. Heck, if i can spare ten dollars to help you, I will send it, but wait your turn.
My family is new to the USA in terms of the countries age, and compared to some families. When my family arrived, it was during the Great Depression. Think they had it easy? No. Did they work their ass off to make a living, and to provide for the future? You bet they did. My family has had members in every war since then. All of them joined without the draft taking them. They fought for the land they joined legally. My grandfather built the first school in there area for other families and our own. He built the first church there also. He is buried just a short distance away from that church which is still used by local families. No one paid him for this, he did it to help and develop our country.
I can still go to dinner back where my grandparents ended up. I hear the old language spoken around the table. But did they refuse to learn English? No. Did they blame America for their problems? No. They fought for everything they had with hard work! I have great uncles missing arms, fingers, and sometimes legs. Did they quit working and live off of the system? Hell no! I grew up watching them work harder then most uninjured men day after day. They never quit because that was not the America they grew up in. When they got old, the family did everything they could to care for them. Did we ask for handouts? Here it comes, NO.
So, since my family farmed, were they doing jobs Americans won't do? Because some of my family worked construction, were they not American?
The next time I hear someone say that statement that Americans won't do something, I will have to ask them, then who did it all these years prior to this day?
The only reason I see every day of why an American won't do a job is because illegals took it first for half the pay. If we can get rid of the illegals, wages will have to rise again. If we kick the illegals out, the jobs will open up for us again. If we only allow legals to work, then it by default becomes American jobs again. It is that simple.
I will end with one piece of advice to these illegals coming here for a better life.
Do what Americans did when they were being held back by British rule. Revolt! If the powers to be are corrupt and evil in your country, quit being a coward that is running away and fight! You need arms? We have plenty here in our country to arm you! Heck, we will make more just to help you. If criminals are making your life so bad you have to leave, then stand up and do something about it! You want to be like us AMERICANS? Then act like us and stand up and take the power away from those who wrong you! Do not ruin my country because you cannot stand up for yourself, or you will see Americans standing up against you! Quite simply, go home and fix your problems. Otherwise, I call you a coward.
